This weekend is going to see three mid range budget films releasing with actors like Naga Chaitanya, Naresh and Manchu Manoj fighting it out at the box office.
Yuddham Saranam and Meda Mida Abbayi have completed their censor formalities and even the advances have started for the movies in the cities. The release charts will be out for the two movies in a day or two and the promotions have been aggravated by two teams. Manchu Manoj's Okkadu Migiladu team still did not start promotions and we have to see if the movie will postpone in the last moment.
Already, we have witnessed Nandamuri Balakrishna's Paisa Vasool and Dil Raju's Vellipomakey releasing this month. Both ended up being flops and Box office is looking for a good hit to continue the momentum set by Arjun Reddy, late August. Also, the three supposed releases are big movies for the actors and they need them to be hits to continue their streak of successes or break the mould.
Yuddham Saranam is an important movie for Naga Chaitanya to prove that he is not just an one-dimensional actor and he can pull off action based thrillers too. The movie also plays a key role in Srikanth Meka's career as the actor decided to take up serious character roles just like Jaggu Bhai aka Jagapathi Babu and the success of this movie will help him establish himself once again as an artist. Along with these two, it is important for Lavanya Tripathi as the actress has been facing flop after flop this year and this movie is her big hope to regain some name.
Sai Korrapati, the producer of the movie, is also under tremendous pressure to deliver a hit as none of his releases from past two years have clicked with the audience like he hoped.
Coming to Meda Mida Abbayi, the movie is the most important film of Allari Naresh's career yet. The actor has been delivering disasters at the box office after Sudigadu and it is important to him that he re-invent himself as well. The movie is a remake of Malayalam hit, Oru Vadakkan Selfie. Lately, none of the remakes of Malayalam films have worked in Telugu, so this movie can ot change that, we have to see.
As far as Okkadu Migiladu goes, the team is highly secretive about the movie and trailer they released did not get unanimous positive response too. Manchu Manoj has been losing his base among the youth with his latest movie choices. So, this movie is very important for him to comeback in a big way.
Well, before Dussehra and after long Vinayaka Navratri celebrations, normally people won't be coming out to the theatres so much and that could affect the collections of the movies, even they manage some good talk. They have to get some exceptional positive feedback like Fidaa or Arjun Reddy to force people to watch them in the theatres. Let's see how this weekend will pan out for our young guns!
