Palle Raghunatha Reddy, the former minister is one of the very few righteous and non – controversial figures in TDP. He is loyal to the party and party chief Chandrababu Naidu even during worst of its times when the party was in opposition. And most surprisingly Chandrababu Naidu sacked him from the cabinet in recent reshuffle. Yet, Palle remained a loyalist.
Chandrababu back-stabs Palle again!
When other ministers who were sacked or those who missed berth raised their dissent voice against the Chief Minister, Palle took it with a smile and accepted the offer to be the Chief Whip in place of Kalva Srinivasulu who was taken into the cabinet.
However, the Chief Minister kept the promise (of making Palle the Chief Whip) in cold storage. Palle waited in hope till the eleventh hour of the recent special assembly session to pass the GST bill and finally learned that Chief Minister has made him a fool, as Kalva played the dual role on floor of the House.
Meanwhile, the TDP leaders have kept a silly explanation in circulation on ‘why Palle denied Chief Whip post’. Palle Raghunatha Reddy in his recent visit to Puttaparthi told the media that he was sacked from the cabinet to pacify the Boya community as the government could not include it in STs as promised and replaced him with Kalva who belongs to the Boya community. He said in all good spirit, but the party leadership took it differently, hence he lost his promised Chief Whip job even before appointment. Yet, Palle is silent while his followers saying that it is nothing short of back stabbing.
