Revanth Reddy dropped a bomshell on the TDP when he admitted that he is holding talks with the Congress Party. Revanth Reddy is an MLA and the working president of the party. He told mediapersons that his decision will depend on Chandrababu's explanation of alliances. If the TDP joins hands with the TRS, then he would leave the party and join the Congress.
On Wednesday evening, he is meeting with the leaders from Kodangal and other followers to decide the future course of action. His followers are upset that Chandrababu had not categorically refuted the rumours about the alliance.
He also said that Yanamala, the finance minister of Andhra Pradesh, has secured contracts worth Rs 2000 crore in Telangana and is hence backing KCR to the hilt. He does not allow any criticism of KCR, Revanth said. Revanth's comments are creating ripples in Telangana.
